Every few months my mom, my sisters and I would talk wistfully about working from home in a creative endeavor.  My youngest sister was still at home, while my sister Stephanie and I were mothers ourselves.  We wanted to work under our own steam, making our own hours and decisions.  This led to me choosing to become a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant.  

Loving the freedom of working for myself, I tried many things to cater to my customer's needs.  I began having customers create wish lists, including the contact information of significant others, so I could then contact them during holidays, anniversaries or birthdays with ready-to-go personalized gifts.  Eventually, I began putting the items requested into lined baskets.  Then I expanded the items available to include non-Mary Kay items, such as chocolates, tea cups and mugs.  Things progressed rapidly from there.  I decided to hold an Open House in November 2007 and invited my mother to bring her personally designed wreaths and centerpieces.  She also brought along her new tablescapes, candle wreaths and a variety of sizes of decorated, lit trees.  We were a big hit! So we decided to peddle our wares online, using the same premise: putting together gifts that can be purchased, ready to go, or altered in any way to suit either the gift-giver or the recipient.  Our goal and our promise is customer satisfaction.  Our trademark is well-made, unique gifts.
